Delicious and Nutritious Hemp Grain Recipes Utilizing Hemp Seed Oil and Hemp Protein Powder

STRAWBERRY CITRUS, HEMP OIL DRESSING

Perfect for tossing in any seasonal salad, Strawberry Citrus, Hemp Oil Dressing pairs perfectly with spricy greens like arugula!

  • 8 ounces frozen strawberries

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 2 tablespoons hemp grain oil

  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

  • 1/2 orange, juiced

  • 1/2 lemon, juiced

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Squeeze juice from orange and lemon, blend all ingredients until smooth.

HEMPY'S HEART PROTEIN BITES

  • 1 cup rolled oats 

  • 2 TBSP Hempy's Heart Protein Powder 

  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 

  • 2 TBSP wheat germ chia seeds 

  • 1 cup peanut butter, crunchy

  • 1/3 cup raw honey 

  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract 

  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips.

    • Alternatives include dried cranberries, Heath Bar bites or butterscotch chip

Combine all ingredients, roll into balls and place on parchment lined baking sheet to chill in refrigerator for 30 minutes +

FROZEN FRUITY SMOOTHIE

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries

  • 1 cup frozen mango

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries

  • 1/2 cup frozen spinach

  • 1/2 cup ice

  • 1/2 cup orange juice

  • 1/2 cup strawberry yogurt

  • 2 TBSP hemp seed oil

  • 3 TBSP hemp seed protein powder

Blend all ingredients until smooth

HEMPY'S ROASTED SALTED HEMP GRAIN BANANA BREAD

  • 3 large bananas, the riper the better

  • 5 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar

  • 1 1⁄3 cup whole wheat flour

  •  2 1⁄5 tsp baking powder

  •  1 tsp ground cinnamon

  •  1 tsp nutmeg

  •  1⁄4 cup Hempy's Roasted Salted Hemp Grains + extra to Sprinkle on top

Preheat oven to 356° F and grease a loaf tin. Mash bananas, then stir in oil, vanilla and brown sugar. Sift in flour, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add hemp seeds and fold to combine before transferring to a loaf tin. Sprinkle with hemp seed and bake for 35 - 40 minutes, until an inserted skewer comes out clean. If the top browns too quickly, cover with foil or move to a bottom rack in the oven.

FRESH POPPED POPOCORN

4 tablespoons of hemp seed oil,
1/2 cup of popcorn kernels

  • Add oil to a deep pot over medium

  • Put 5 kernels in with the oil

  • Cover with lid

  • Once the first kernals pop, remove the pot from the burner, remove the first 5 kernals and add all the remaining kernals

  • Wait 30 seconds and return the pot to the heat, cover with lid

  • Allow 85-90% of the kernals to pop and then remove from heat

  • Salt or season and serve
